Custom Binding issues

Hey all,

So after a shorter wait than expected, my brand new HOSAS setup arrived. (NXT gladiator right and omnithrottle left).

I've started playing around with setting them up and am running into an odd problem. I've not ever used any joysticks before so I don't know if it is user error or something else.

The game loaded with a preset "HCS Gladiator NXT EVO.4.0.binds" When I tried it, things sort of worked, however many of the controls were backwards. IE right stick left rolled right etc.

So I went into the controls, and one by one checked each axis, saved, and tested. So first I fixed roll, looked good. Then I fixed yaw and pitch, all good. Then I started on the left stick.

The issue was that at some point in the process it is like the bindings reset, as the controls ended up backwards again.

So I'm reall stuck trying to figure out what is going on. Also before I thought whenever I picked a preset and started messing with around it would change to a "Custom" binding. However it has been awhile since I messed with the settings so I could be remembering incorrectly.

[edit] I found I wasn't getting the profile changing to custom. So I took the HCS gladiator profile and manually copied it and changed to a profile called "joystick" from there i have been able to edit that profile and the changes stick.
