[Discussion] As a high level player, ammo limits are kind of absurd?

Context:

I have 100+ mil in the bank. At this point it is actually EASIER for me to run M995 over M855A1. I want M855A1 but I am limited to a very small amount which I can easily burn through in one or two raids worth, and what little of it there is on the flea is going for prices basically equivalent to 995 which is just crazy.

"Just run something other than M4/HK!"

See that's the thing, I have been. I've been running VSS/VAL for like a week straight and I can buy all the effective ammo I want. And even with the nerfs, I still personally think that the VAL platform is superior to the M4 platform. But the ammo limit for effective 5.56 ammunition is so incredibly low that when I DO want to break out a M4/HK, I lean towards not doing it.

"Just run M856A1!"

I specifically want to run something less strong than 995 but better than the trash that is 856A1. I just want to run a M4 with effective ammo that lasts me more than a few raids worth and there isn't even enough on the flea market.

So, to conclude, I feel like the limit system is inconsistent needs some rebalancing. I don't think it should be scrapped; in the case of 7N31 I think it does what it needs to do. But something should change, maybe in the form of a 855A1 craft or increased amounts of 855A1 in raid, or both. Right now the way limits are structured don't make much sense to me and actually seems to discourage variety. I already try to change my kit very frequently, sometimes once every raid, not because of ammo scarcity, but because variety just makes this game more fresh when you're level 60+ with 100+ mil in the stash.

What do you guys think?
