DLSS And DLDSR

If you’re able to run DLSS and aren’t satisfied with the results (especially if you’re using a monitor below 4K native res), try using DLDSR via the Nvidia Control Panel. Whether you’re on 1080p or 1440p, enable DLDSR, select one of the new custom resolutions in game, crank your textures and shadows to high and set DLSS to Quality or Balanced and you should see the same if not better FPS and better visuals at a higher res compared to native res with DLSS or TAA.

For example, I have an i9-10900, RTX 3080 and 32GB RAM @3600mhz. I typically play on 1440p and would average around 60-90 FPS on Lighthouse with TAA and high textures and shadows. Now I’ve been using DLDSR 2.25x which runs the game at 4K and DLSS Quality. I get better visuals and my FPS is typically between 85-115 on Lighthouse.

TL;DR: Use DLDSR to tax your GPU more in combination with DLSS for the best experience.
