TLDR: I got payed more than expected (yay!), how does the CG payout system work?
Hi cmdrs, I recently stuck my head out for exploration (currently I’m using this DBX build, I’m gonna grind for the fsd booster and the pre-engineered dss in the coming weeks). So a couple of days ago I wanted to test this out and I tried my first Road to Riches loop. Being a perfectionist I full spectrum scanned every single system on the way, not just the ones highlighted on the online plotter, and I ended up with 70+ systems of cartographic data so sell. After returning to the bubble I decided to head to Eta Cassiopeiae to participate in the CG, with scarce hopes since I found only one ammonia world in those 70+ systems.
So here’s the thing: I open Universal Cartographics and the expected payout is around 14 mil total (I know the boosted cg payout doesn’t appear in the tab but gets obtained nonetheless), I press sell and boom I get 45+ mil.
So my question is: how does the cg payout actually work? I thought strict ammonia worlds only had a boosted payout, or did I misunderstand something?
