Yesterday I started with my homebrew Devo Warriors into the season and I was quite successful with 15-3 and about to hit ProRank. But suddenly today everybody seems to have figured out NG Soldiers and in the end I lost six in a row. So I switched to SY Poison Nekker and unfortunately it is still super strong and it works great against Soldiers (6-0). This is the first time I hit ProRank so quickly so I am super happy of course.
Anyways, the NG bronze packages are so strong, especially the combination of Ard Feainn Crossbowman and Slave Driver. Additionally, you have a crazy point slamming option for round 3 with Nauzicaa Brigade which plays for 11 as 5 provision. Don't get me wrong, I love the archetype and used to play it quite often but they may have exaggerated a bit with the bronzes now.
How to counter that? SY Poison might be an option now but I get the hate for this deck. I will try to make a dwarves deck to counter soldiers and this might work due to their crazy armour. What do you run against Soldiers?
