I was traveling to bonemass (with all my best gear) and I had to sail by some plains islands. I sailed through the lower gap only to get stuck it I had to push by boat through. On the righthand side it was only a dead end so I tried to sail through the other gap very quickly on my way back, because I had already encountered a deathsketo previously . But it was night and I hit the land. I attempted to back paddle, but before I escaped a friendly beast slowly approached me and greeted me with a one hit kill.
I attempted to get my equipment back by cutting through a black forest naked and using a raft to reach my corpse. It is a very long trip but not too much sailing. However this time a deathsketo stopped me. I was able to see the boat was destroyed but I think the nails are still there.
What should I do? Go naked again? Consider my iron armor and my mighty maxed bronze polearm lost? Do deathsketos sleep at night?
