So basically I have been struggling with performance in EFT since 2017, I have watched all the performance tweak videos, some of them increase a few frames others don't. I finally found my issue. i had 24GB of DDR4 2600Mh and I would get max 90 frames and constantly drop below 60 making the game unplayable. Today I upgraded to 16GB of DDR4 3600mh RAM and my performance has increased tremendously, I barely drop below 100 frames as of now. So basically if you have older/slower RAM it will hinder your performance. Good luck to anyone trying to increase FPS in Tarkov, hope it goes well and you get it running smoothly.
My Old Specs:
Ryzen 7 3700x
RTX 2070
24GB DDR4 2600mh
480GB SSD (which EFT is installed on)
and the rest really doesn't matter
My New Specs:
Ryzen 7 3700x
RTX 2070
16GB DDR4 3600mh
480GB SSD (which EFT is installed on)
and the rest really doesn't matter once again
