Don’t get me wrong here, this isn’t a whiny rant like I see a lot on here about how everyone’s too rich and spamming shit. No this is more of a thought to help keep interest in the game.
I’ve noticed after about 2 months every wipe, that’s when all of my friends I usually run with stop getting on. I’m talking within weeks it’s like 90% of my friends list. I lose interest as well, most of us finish loyalty levels within a month or two and slowly stop questing.
I feel like there’s a lot of downtime where the majority of player base falls off and onto other games, where if there was a reset every 4-6 months it would
A) Help keep players more engaged to the game
B) Be more newbie friendly, building the community more.
I realize this is kinda a complicated topic, since if I’m not mistaken they want to make the game wipe less eventually, so this is kinda a step in the opposite direction.
What are your thoughts on current lengths of wipes, and if you ever want it to go wipeless?
