We can land on airless worlds and thin atmosphere worlds, come on FDev. Let us land on atmospherics!! I want to go down to this Mustafar-like hell world that has a 48,000 atm surface pressure and 2800 K surface temp, covered in magma, and has a water atmosphere! Maybe landing on Earthlikes is too much, but come on..let us land on real atmospheres. You've gotta be working on volumetric tech right? What else is the volumetric effect from neutron cones, the Maelstroms, and the thin atmo effect on planet surfaces for? If you're not working on letting us land on planets, what ARE you working on? Ugh communication between this developer studio and the community is awful.
Cool all we know is that a bug fix patch is coming at some point relatively soon and Update 15, which we know nothing about, is uh..sometime this year I guess. Any news of new ships? New features being teased? Narrative plans? It will have been two years in May since Odyssey came out – any news of the next expansion? Are there even going to be more expansions? Why is it so damn hard to find anything out about this game that expects massive years-long time investments from its players while providing them with no information with which to help make the decision to invest that time?
