Ever since arena released in the gwent beta, it was all I ever played and I had a blast playing it, all the way until it was… deleted! I built up an entire premium collection just from profiting off of arena. I had high hopes for the draft mode, but was unimpressed when trying it out. I really wanted to like it but just couldn’t so I quit the game.
I recently came back upon hearing about the new patch 8.5 and expansion campaign, but it still doesn’t feel right to play gwent without arena. I understand that as of now, it wouldn’t be too good to bring arena back since it would draw attention away from their draft project which seems to still be in the works, but here I stand forever holding out hope they they bring arena back as a separate game mode. It is similar to draft in many respects but I feel like it is a unique enough experience to be allowed to chill as its own thing.
Anyone else here who would support arena coming back? Anyone who thinks arena should stay gone please lemme know why you think so as well. 😀
