Just a tip for new people trying to do quests, and new players in general.

It worked well for me and its great.

See a lot of casual players who play this game 3-6 hours a day while they still have kids and a full time job and volunteer at a soup kitchen – they do what anyone who wants to get good at a game does, they memorize patterns.

So when you start a match in Shoreline or Reserve and you have only played each spawn 4 times….which is what like 50 or 60 times total…just go hide in a bush and go do laundry or play another game or make some Hot Pockets. When you come back then do your mission.

You will still die a lot and you will still encounter PMCs, but at least you aren't encountering PMC's who are just waiting for you to be there. The maps are huge and I love this game but I don't want to spend 45 fucking minutes playing a raid where when you boil it all down, I probably had 5 minutes of fun.

I personally think the spawns in this game should be randomized…and by that I mean a new spot every time, within reason. The game is essentially a crap shoot anyway with good spawns. The first time you kill a lvl 45 player with a shit gun you're gonna be like "oh, that was it? I do that everytime…I shoot at them and sometimes they die and sometimes they don't…I guess they died that time."

So yeah, don't get discouraged, this game isn't that difficult at all, it just requires training. A Rhesus monkey could play this game well if they had all the time in the world to train. So take comfort in the fact that if you got killed its probably because the guy who killed you was lucky…either that or the are ex-military and they know all kinds of crazy shit about guns and ammo and gear that civilians like us couldn't possibly understand ….(probably the former though)
