Just thought I'd share my Gamepad setup on the Razer Tartarus. I'm getting a stick this week, but will use the gamepad for throttle and other key management with the goal of not using a keyboard at all. I want to play fully VR and with the headset on, I can't see the keyboard.
I used the standard keyboard setup in game and configured the gamepad to the following. This is gamepad key # to Keyboard function:
- Dpad left Speed to 0%
- Dpad right V
- Dpad down J
- Dpad up N
- button Z
- 2 left arrow
- 3 Up arrow
- 4 right arrow
- 5 system map
- 6 unused
- 7 Q
- 8 W
- 9 E
- 10 R
- 11 unused
- 12 D
- 13 S
- 14 A
- 15 F
- 16 4
- 17 3
- 18 2
- 19 1
- 20 TAB
