On the subject of wipes

Relatively new player here with a question for long-timers about wipes. I believe eventually the plan is to stop doing wipes and just let the game play out, right? Is this the generally preferable way of playing out the end-game in Tarkov?

I haven't played long enough to live through one, but I imagine everyone getting a full reset is a very exciting time. Everyone only has access to dealer gear and whatever they find in raids. Long-time players can't dump tons of money into stacked kits to roll everyone else in a raid. Playing-field gets as close to leveled as it can really get. Everyone's trying to scramble through tasks to get to the better dealer gear because it matters more than I imagine towards the end of a wipe.

The only thing I can equate it to is new Path of Exile leagues where everyone starts at zero which I enjoy tremendously. I feel like after enough time, Tarkov, in it's current state, would be prone to stagnation when you eventually unlock all there is through tasks and have more money than you can reasonably spend.

What do you guys think? Are wipes generally received as frustrating things because all of your money/task progress/accumulated gear/hideout gets reset or is it fun to try and rebuild from nothing along with everyone else using past experience to optimize the process? I don't think you could approach it like PoE with a "standard league" where no wipes occur and a separate "league" with wipes at regular intervals; it would probably have to be all-or-nothing.
