posting this on the save the world sub, maybe i’ll get less harassment for it here.

before i start this i should say, i know not EVERYONE in the community is like this. but a vast majority are and its truly disgusting. will this post make stuff better? no, but i will try.

i, and many other people in the LGBTQ+ community (that i've talked to) are legit scared of the fortnite community due to how incredibly LGBTQ+phobic alot of people in this community are. i (and others) have been harassed, called slurs, and even received death threats to no end from the fortnite community purely for being a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

you may just say "Well just don't say you're in the LGBTQ+ community" we shouldnt have to. should we be exclaiming every where that we're LGBTQ+? no. that is annoying. but when someone just simply has it in their bio, they shouldnt be harassed to no end for essentially no reason.

as someone who is transgender, i feel unsafe in a community full of people who do this. video games are meant to be an escape from our morbid reality, not meant to spread hate towards a specific group of people. fortnite community, we need to do better.

when i posted this in the battle royale sub, i got a bunch of people harassing me. thus proving my point.
