Decided to dive back in after taking several years off. I wiped my old file to start fresh.
I was really looking forward to unlocking all the engineers because it forces me into doing various aspects of the game I would otherwise neglect (mining, 5000 ly exploring etc).
I invested a decent amount of time into this file, got a Krait MK2 to be my “unlocking engineers” ship, and a Python for Robigo. Just finished with Farseer when I started getting engineers spontaneously complete all their requirements. Like 5 or 6 of them over the course of a day or so.
I’m seriously considering restarting all over again. But if I do and those engineers unlock by themselves AGAIN, that would be the final nail. Does anyone have any experience with this glitch and what may have caused it? Perhaps I can avoid it happening again. Playing Horizons 4.0 btw.
