Sharing my last 3 days of climbing.

geralt tsirilla gwent the witcher card game gwen

Evening folks,

So, I have been recording my games this past 3 days with my version of a Gernichora deck (Heavy control oriented). What do I mean with recording? Having a .txt open and writing about the matches, and what did I do wrong when I lost.

I don't know if someone is interested in this, but why not.

You can find the deck here (could write a guide if you are interested): https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/guides/254701

So, the actual content:

Overall winrate is 67.4%. I am not very happy with it but it is what it is.

Conclusions:

The main issue is not drawing Mamunna, not even kidding. Who would have thought that not drawing the best card in the deck would make me lose lul.

Against ST I learned that I can't bleed r2, I have to win round 1, go to a long r3 and kill their gordzilla. I have lots of removal so killing the engines is fairly easy.

SK: dont know, no one plays that faction. Just Heatwave theyr wincon.

SY: I hate that faction, specially Lined Pockets, today one of them made a 35+ points swing in one turn, can do nothing against it and I dont have enough provisions to put a purify in the deck. Completly lost at what to do in this matchup.

MO: They mostly play Force/Koshe and not Gerni, Its a bit of a 50/50. It is usually super important to win round 1 so I have the option to bleed (and I do not get bleed) So I always mulligan things like squirrel or Maxii.

NG: If its a ball deck then save Heatwave or its kinda lost, but not a very tought matchup.

NR: There are two versions out there, both with Zeal. First its Commandos + Siege. If they go for the standard Defender + Foltest + Commandos and I cant answer it just pass, lost one game on even because I didnt respect it. If it is the Patience version then it is pretty favorable because I run a lot of removal.

I find this data very interesting because I am trying to improve my gameplay and I wanted to share it so I can hear your toughts. Also, If some of you have suggestions for my deck please go ahead. Altough I think it is pretty optimized.

If you made it this far, then I wish you a good day.

See ya!
