Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I really don't like spending hours just planting barley so I tried to make the process as easy as possible. I'm not sure if this will be worth anything for anyone but for those who have established a base in the Plains Biome, here are some tips:
- Planting in columns: Hold S and walk backwards while planting a column of crops then strafe to the left or right to plant another column. Rebind your attack key to a keyboard key (mine is Numpad-1) so that your mouse doesn't move your camera. You can also try creating beam guides similar to the ones in the video to make your columns more symmetrical
- Max out your cultivator: You can't go wrong with a durable cultivator. 100% worth it
- Harvesting: Most of you probably know this already but you can hold E to harvest the crops you're looking at. Also, for Flax and Barley, you can use an atgeir (special attack), iron sledge, or a stagbreaker
*The video was kind of a fail lol i did the thing for the first few rows but then I realized it wasn't recording. Too late though cause I ran out of barley. Rip
