so I did a RAM upgrade after you guys kept saying 16 is not enough and I did not agree…

So I will start with saying I have to take back and apologize to couple of you about what I said about 16gb vs 32gb RAM in Tarkov.

With 16 I did not have literally any stutters at all and my game was running at stable 70-80FPS on my laptop.

Since I saw the discussions I started running Tarkov with monitors on and was looking at the RAM every game.

My laptop was constantly hitting 15,0-15,5GB RAM and I saw it was not topping the RAM but I thought it could be my system keeping some buffer.

I was running total of 16GB RAM – 8gb soldered to MB + 8gb RAM module.

I bought 16GB RAM stick and replaced the 8gb so right now I have 24GB. I know its not balanced but I did not want to spend twice for RAM just to prove a point it works and if it is enough for Tarkov I will stay with that and later rather buy new PC…

Whats very nice to see how everything improved over the past years as I can see all of the 8+16gb running as dualchannel.

But when I started the game with 24GB RAM and started Customs the RAM imediatelly went to 18GB. On Shoreline and Reserve I am at 19,5 GB RAM.

The most important part of this is that my FPS went to 90-100 stable on Customs(tried many raids) and 70-80 on Reserve where I was around 60-62 so the RAM while not causing stutters for me was clearly a bottleneck for the rest of the system in Tarkov.

So…sorry again I take it all back and thank you for make me thinking about it xD

Edit: I have posted this to tell to you guys who have doubts or cannot decide if it will even help you to upgrade from 16GB to more… Open resource monitor and look at the RAM curve on all of the maps while running PMC as the raids with PMC usually have less FPS than scav(at least for me).
