Note: All of this is my summary of Burza's answers, not what he said verbatim. If you're interested in something he said I highly recommend watching the stream VOD when you can.

Burza's News/Annoucements

  • CDPR is focusing on 8.3 right now, 1hr 10 minute dev stream with Jason and Burza coming on Monday with patch notes which will include the roadmap posted already. Hattori getting a rework.

  • Top 64 qualifiers held last weekend, ForeverYolo and kams qualified. Next Open will happen in April. You can check out the highlights on Twitch.

  • Anna posted Season of the Wolf play rates and win rates this week, if you missed it

  • Yen's Journey story visuals were fixed earlier this week. They also already know who the next Journey character will be, no hints though.

  • Two pieces of community content were featured – Geralt Igni Pixel art and a Vivienne art/video

Community Questions

  • Who's a better player, [Burza] or Jason?

A: Jason

  • When is Dagon returning?

A: Not soon, not on their radar at the moment

  • Are you releasing new leaders this year?

A: Changing the way they do yearly content (so it's not connected to the chinese new year). They'll do something but it'll be different

  • What's the status of Draft?

A: Looking at adding progression, they feel that is the next thing to add. Package tuning/changes will always be happening

  • Will old Journeys or their cosmetics come back?

A: Probably not the whole Journeys, but do want to figure out a way to bring them back. They're concerned with what the players would think about it.

  • Are there plans for better communication?

A: Roadmap on Monday, TWIG every week going forward is intended to improve communication.

  • Invigorate Rework when?

A: Good question, don't know when.

  • Are we getting more merch?

A: Working on T-shirts and adding more to the Displate shop

  • Can we expect Faction Challenges in the near future?

A: Weren't happy with the player engagement and format of these events, decided to drop them in favor of holiday events and events like the Yaruga board event.

  • Another Thronebreaker?

A: No plans for that

  • More advertising for the game?

A: Yes, they do advertise on social networks and want to keep them up and expand those

  • Any plans for set rotations?

A: No, they don't feel the card pool is big enough for that to be necessary
