The Beluga and how it can be buffed

i want to get the beluga but cant help the feeling that its a waste of money and space, its only barely better than the python in its stats, 2 extra utility internals and an extra size 6 and a 3 in optional, 20 base shield and hull and thats it? for 30 million extra you downgrade more than half of the ship just for that? that seems like an incredible amount of waste, both time and effort to get a beluga.

you downgrade your powerplant, power distributor, speed, hull, shield, agility, size. to be fair im not expecting it to be more agile or faster than it, but thats still a downgrade from it that when combined with everything else, while also comparing it to the other big ships just makes me think "dont get it".
i can get an anaconda for just 60 extra mil and be able to outfit that in everything that i desire that i can only dream to do in the beluga.

a ship that is (according to the dimensions) bigger than a cutter, i expect there to be more to it, more internals, more utility and optional internals and have atleast a similar sized powerplant and distributor.

in all honesty the beluga needs a big change (i know it was already "buffed" but thats hardly anything) and this is what i think needs to be done:
—2 more utility slots to bring it up to 8 (6?! who thought of that?!)
—a size 8 and a 7 internal, giving it about 752 tonnes of *just* cargo space.*
—give it a size 8 powerplant and a 7 distributor**
—give it a size 8 fsd***
—increase its base shield strength from 280mj to about 400~ (+/- 50 mj) and increase base armour from 280 to 350 ****
—increase mass-lock factor to 22-25 *****
—increase price from 85~ mil to about 170~ mil******

allow me to explain:
* the internals are cause its a ship thats bigger than the cutter, it should have a similar internal space to reflect this and with this change you can also add larger passenger cabins too, really solidify its ability to transport people and tourists (you could also lock these larger cabins to the beluga without making those slots only be able to take those internals. to also give a comparison, the cutter has about 792 tonnes of cargo with just cargo racks. so then why not more? cause that would be broken.(and be too much for its space, considering the other stuff i want to change)

** the currently size 6 powerplant just seems to be poop, ive read that it overheats easily and requires extensive engineering to fix it and it doesnt really fit to have a size 6 for its size, plus with this proposed change a size 6 would be hell. a class 8 powerplant might be too much and end up making this op, however my line of reasoning with it was because i didnt change the hardpoint numbers, considering it aint a combat ship it doesnt need more. the size 8 just allows power for the fsd and all the internals, power distributor however can stay a size 6, i just said size 7 to again, bring it more up to speed with the other large ships. if you dont like it please do say why below.

*** ive read this on the forums and i liked this idea, it should be a ship thats almost always outside the bubble doing tourist missions or even exploration, a size 8 fsd would solidify that (although i dont know what its fsd range would be, thats up to frontier, now they also just need to make them pay more and be more enjoyable)

****i got these stats from inara.cz's shipyard website, im not aware how up to date it is but it did seem to be up to date, im not sure, if you found some other stats feel free to tell me

*****its a 950 ton ship with mass-lock of 18, the python is 350t with 17 and the corvette is 900 with 25, any number between 22 and 25 would be good, just to make it have more sense

******85 mil for this proposed ship is madness, 170 mil or so seems to be more inline with the other ships, again, it should be anywhere that range with these changes, can be 150 mil or 200 mil, up to you, whichever sounds more appealing and balanced.

and this is the conclusion, the current beluga just seems to be really bad with less than a desirable ammount of internals, utility, optional and core, while being too cumbersome for it. again, if you disagree with any of this please feel free to say.
