Top 10 for the CG in Colonia, worth it?

Hi!

This is the first time I'm taking actively part in a CG. I tried to during the 2nd phase of the Colonia bridge but it ended before I could complete my first delivery, same as many CMDRs. So I'm completly new to CG.

Determined to get those sweet double engineered FSDs, I prepped a type 9 in Colonia before the end of 3307 and waited for the CG to start. At first, I wanted to play it casual, just haul the amount needed for me to get the FSDs. But as I was about to log off, I checked the CG state and was surprised to find out that I was in the top 10 contributors. So I thought: "Hell, maybe I can do it". I'd actually like to name the new starport in honor of a recently deceased loved one. So I set myself to work and I've been hauling since the beginning of the CG, almost non-stop, with the difficulties inherent to the Colonia region (next to no supply).

As I'm writing this, I've delivered more than 26'000 tons of CG goods. So, should Inara's CG data be accurate, I may even be the current best contributor Colonia side. But let's face it, it's not fun. It's tedious work, but work I'm willing to do… if I actually stand a chance.

From my understanding, once the Alcor side gets dealt with, FC owners will come to Colonia. I don't have a fleet carrier, just this Type 9. Can I compete with them? Or doesn't matter the amount of work I put, am I doomed to be blasted off the podium/top 10 by the logistics of fleet carriers owners ?

I'm more than willing to work for that sweet top 10/1st spot, but if, regardless of my efforts, I don't stand a chance against FC owners, I might as well just ensure to be in the 75% best contributors and go get some sleep (man I'm tired). So I'd like the opinion of more experienced CMDRs that took part in more CG than they care to remember.

TL;DR: Can I hope to remain in the top 10 (or even best contributor, should it really be me) in Colonia with only a type 9, once the fleet carriers start to drop in ?

Sorry for the long text, probably stuffed with tons of useless info. But guess what, I have a lot of free time when that thing auto-docks.
