Valheim is among the best games I’ve played for years, but the developer communication is bad for an indie Early Access title

I think it's good that Iron Gate are taking their time with their next update, as I'm optimistic that it will be an awesome and polished addition to the game. I'm also patient enough to wait for a whole year (or longer) until the teased roadmap is implemented.

But for an Early Access indie title we can expect a little lot communication from the developer, can't we?

Tweets from the Valheim Twitter account are comparable to the typical marketing tweets of any AAA franchise. They contain no insights whatsoever on what Iron Gate is currently doing.

I have to confess that I don't use Discord, so I can't follow them there. Are there any more news, teasers or insights in there?
