Two days ago on the Steam forums for Valheim, the mods started a thread titled “Rant & Vent” and said it was for the fans to let their negative feelings out. Numerous people did and followed the rules to stay respectful.
I post a comment regarding the fact that Irongate studios released Valheim onto Xbox while still being in Early Access and I found that to be odd and a little concerning.
The mods REMOVE my comment (which followed the rules, was a bit vocal but was not vulgar towards anyone) and proceed to BAN me for 24 hours (this was yesterday).
So today, my ban lifted at noon, and I went into the same thread to acknowledge that my comment was deleted even though I broke no rules.
THAT comment got deleted and I was banned until the 12th. A three day ban?!?! With no warnings at any point.
I’m sorry but this is some fucked bullshit. I know Irongate is not the mods on the forums but what the fuck is this authoritarian control on their fans? They remove alllll negative discussion, WHILE simultaneously not putting out the updates they sold us on at launch 1.5 years ago.
Anyone else know what’s up with this? Why are the mods behaving this way? I’m not false presenting this story, this literally just happened and I’m actually blown away by this.
