We could really use an Ammo Module specifically for Kinetic Weapons and Missiles

PAs or Rails with Fuel Slug + Extra Fuel tanks is just too good for long play sessions in Haz Res Sites or Conflict Zones. Not to mention these weapons are just better compared to other Fixed weapons.

So I can think they could add in a couple variations of ammo modules to give a buff to using Kinetics and Missiles. This would also allow the variation of Engineering since we wouldn't necessarily need High Capacity and aren't tied to using a single experimental like Fuel Slug for Plasma weapons.

Should the ammo boxes be weapon specific like a Multi Cannon Ammo Box, Cannon Ammo Box, Frag Cannon Ammo Box, Seeker Missile Rack and Dumbfire Missile Rack?

Or would generic ones be fine like Kinetic Ammo Box and Missile Ammo Rack that just gives an ammo buff to all weapons of that type?

Either way I don't think they should effect PAs or Rails since that could be a bit OP. I'm a fan of weapon specific ammo boxes since it balances it out a bit better, not to mention most builds don't mix too many Kinetic weapons of different types.

I think they could come in different sizes and the size of the module could be the balancing factor. If you want to bring a lot of ammo, you have to sacrifice an optional module.

Another balancing factor could be limiting only 1 per type per ship. So you could only have 1 Cannon Ammo Box or 1 Kinetic Ammo Box, but you could also fit a Seeker Rack or Missile Ammo Rack.

I think since Limpets come in Odd sizes, I was thinking these could come in Even Sizes with a basic Ammo Multiplyer that effects the weapons of that type.

Size 2 – 1.5x Ammo

Size 4 – 3x Ammo

Size 6 – 6x Ammo

Honestly fitting a Size 6 Missile Ammo Rack with a Packhound boat sounds like a lot of fun in PvE.

This would also give a large buff to Ammo weapons that aren't Multicannons for PvE activities since MCs have the most staying power out of anything. Missiles and Cannons just have low damage for the amount of ammo you can carry.

I also feel like this would be something easier they could add, it's just an optional module that modifies the stat of specific equipped weapons.
