Why chads get mad and why lvndmark is a bad example to new players

First off this is not meant to attack anyone, lvandmark just a prime example. The one defining trait of a tarkov “chad” is combat ability which in and of itself is not a bad thing; however what if it’s the only thing you are good at? This, in my belief is the problem with most chads that get pissed when they die or struggle, Tarkov isn’t only combat (although a majority is) and is an ever changing landscape and those who get frustrated and complain usually suffer from one of two things.

1) inability to identify insufficiency within their play style

2) unwillingness or inability to adapt to these insufficiencies or negate them

In simpler terms they are trying to fit a square peg into around hole and when it doesn’t work they are unable to identify the problem, realize that they need to use a round peg, or they are too proud to use the round peg.

Lvndmark is a prime example of this mentality, he is so proud and confident in his combat abilities that when he loses it is incomprehensible to him that he just got unlucky or outplayed, therefore in his mind the game is either broken or the opponent was cheating. This behavior is also exhibited in the response to changes in the systems of Tarkov and how resistant people are to them, as it threatens the play style they have mastered and or become comfortable with.

To end this I would like to say that escape from Tarkov is a early access game and will probably be for a while, this means it will be in constant state of motion, changing and morphing throughout its life; some changes will work, others will not and it is up to you to adapt to them. Regardless video games are meant to be enjoyed if you aren’t having fun take a break as there is no shame in it.
