SY is the top deck this meta,no doubts to that. It feels like they win against almost all decks if they draw all their gold's. But that is not because jackpot is broken it's only coz of KOB.
Jackpot has existed in its current state for probably a year and it hasn't been meta for most of the year after its provision nerf during the time sunset got released. We have had 18 damage freakshow, salamander, sigi plus caesar etc for all this time but only after the release of KOB did jackpot suddenly became broken. Before it was drill and after drill got nerfed SY was one of the bottom 2 factions with nobody bringing it during the open and only 1 person bringing it during masters.
It's only after KOB got released that jackpot has become this good/arguably broken. Jackpot has not "been broken all along" it's only coz of KOB. Guys it's a 15 point roach for 3 more provisions. That's the only reason SY is so good.
The reason jackpot is the most used because for some reason CDPR dosent want us to use spenders. Take a look at all the bronze spenders in the faction. There is not a single bronze spender in the game that is not absolutely fucking trash. Like literally every single bronze spender in the game is trash and sea jackal only works on red coin. LUL Imagine playing 5 for 4s to spend in 2022 or playing 6 for 5s which is an even worse statline to spend. Why would anyone play these garbage cards? It's like cdpr wants to punish us for using spenders and wants to shoehorn every SY deck into using jackpot.
If cdpr wants to "fix" SY they need to buff these bronze spenders to a competitive statline asap and make KOB not literally a 15 for 12 roach.At its current point value KOB needs to literally be 15-16 provisions to be balanced. The spenders are so trash why would anyone want to play something other than jackpot which allows you to semi bypass having to use these absolutely garbage cards.
Imagine if every game the hyperthin player is able to summon a 12-15 point roach instead of the 4p one they do how broken would that be. Would that be balanced because that is basically what KOB is.
I have seen too many posts blaming jackpot and praising the absolutely useless KOB change that I wanted to make this post.
Tldr: Stop blaming the jackpot leader blame the 15 for 12 roach and the shitty spenders forcing us to play jackpot.
