So I haven’t solo queue in about a month cuz I decided to drag all my friends out of whatever shitty games they used to play to introduce them to te masterpiece called Apex Legends. But recently my squad decided to grind rank out of curiosity and I just think it’s a waste of time at this point. S3 Diamond here and it was boring to get there and this season I stopped at Plat cuz God it’s boring. Don’t get me wrong, I love action. I mean a Ranked system where high ranked players kill poor gold and plat players to stay on top like hell no. Ranked is just pubs for predators and pre made squads. I was in a pre-made squad and it was kinda easy but boring as hell to get to diamond. You can tell that you just killed a bunch of randoms by the way they were playing.
So for the past 3 days, I decided to solo queue and oh my God! I don’t remember Apex players being so bad… like dude can you even kill a fly?!
My KD went from 2.32 to 2.11 😂 this season… I know it’s the end of the season so Idc much but come on fellas! Guys you need to step up your game though! Sitting back and being passive isn’t going to make you a better player or make your game more fun. Seriously where’s the fun to die with no kills. I know you don’t feel confident or think you’re potato but you ain’t, it’s all in your head.
Funny thing is! One game I can drop a 10+ kills in a lobby full of pred and the next 10 games will just be shit like 1 kill, third party, my teammates freeze, we die. I used to be afraid of fire trails before but now I’m like okay Mr. Shiny, let’s see what you got. Oh I see you’re abusing the Havoc to get kills Mr. Predator… Wait I have one as well, let’s see how this plays out now… oh not so good after all… look at you now downed on the floor abusing the ping system to get your friends to support you… don’t get me wrong I get destroyed too like damn! Why did I push him with an alternator but as I said I love action. But when I down them Im just like well Im just gonna thirst you and leave the scene like nothing ever happened before your Wolfgang gets here and murder me.
Than I went to duos and it was even worse. All the time it’s just me and my teammate’s banner in my pocket. Just hearing the guy screaming let’s go in my hears every time I wipe a squad… I know it’s good to hear that from another player but I would have preferred him alive. All my wins come mostly come from the fact that I had to 1v1 the last guy. I died in so many third parties in duos that sometimes I sit in my chair making calculations like where tf this dude just came from cuz I made sure my angles were covered before starting to shoot.
I even texted a guy cuz I was mad like dude get good and he texted back saying that “ I HaVe a JoB AnD MaKe MoRe MoNeY” and I was like I make 23$ an hour so what’s your point? Never heard from him again.
Than I got paired with a girl in duos… she was streaming, didn’t have many viewers but we had some good games together and just realized that the game is fine, players are just getting worse.
