Just a noob ranting about matchmaking

Hey 🙂

First of all, I'm not really active in the Apex community, so sorry if this has already been answered a million times. Also, yes I use alt-accounts. I really don't care if It's against the ToS or whatever, it's the only way I can have fun while playing Apex.

I just don't get why we aren't getting matched against people within 5-10 levels of ourselves. Respawn clearly has the ability to do so. Every time I create a new profile, it works absolutely fine, and I feel that the lobbies are fair, until I hit about level 15 where I get matched against predators and level 500's.

HOW IS THAT FAIR AND SUPPOSED TO BE "FUN"?

Now, before all of you comment "WeLl It'S a BaTtLe RoYAle ANd IT's SuppOsEd To bE RanDOm", please hear me out.

I get your point, but it is REALLY not fun being the one who just gets rushed by a full team of predators when I only have ~70 hours in-game. It happens almost every game once one of my alt-accounts hits level 15.

I am also aware that ranked matchmaking is a thing, but I don't want to have to do my best every single game. I like to play just for the fun of it. Clearly, having both at the same time is not possible unless I have 1000+ hours in this game.

This is just something that bothers me about this game, that is otherwise really fun. Feel free to share your opinions on this in the comments, just please don't be butthurt or toxic.
