Thank you for being a great community

I've played a lot of video games. There are lots of reasons Apex is my favorite game, but by far the biggest reason is the community. For some reason in Apex, people are dramatically less toxic. I played League of Legends for many years so I know what an extremely toxic community looks like. Sure, there will always be the Wraiths that drop solo, or the teammates who loot your box instead of ressing you, or the occasional random to yell at your over voice chat or send a degrading message after the match. But these types of occurrences seem much more rare compared to a lot of other competitive multiplayer games. I don't know if that's just me and my experience or if that's just the way Apex is, but I love it.

I watch a lot of streamers on Twitch too, and I've noticed that Apex Twitch streamers are so incredibly supportive of each other. They don't see other Predator level Twitch streamers as competition, they see them as squadmates. People are constantly raiding and hosting other Twitch streamers and cheering them on.

Maybe I'm looking through rose-coloured glasses and just don't see some of the toxicity or drama that occurs in the Apex community. Maybe I'm just a bit naive and focusing on the good things. But to me it's a breath of fresh air in the realm of competitive multiplayer and a big reason I love this game so much.

What do you think?
