Someone in my squad went to a charge tower and was starting to charge, and I went along with him. The other squad member didn't show up. The squad member already at the tower stopped holding the button needed to charge, so I went in and charged it my self all the way. Suddenly, my squad starts punching me and insults me. I forgot what it was. I said something like "I thought charge towers charge everybody". About 30 seconds later, I see a message in the chat that says "wait" which I assume was sent when the other squad member was about to charge. I said "I didn't see the message for "wait"".
I then get a message saying "Shut the fuck up gringo". I guess tribalism took over me out of anger, and I then replied "mexicaca". I instantly regret saying that word. If you don't know what that word means, its a slur that many non-Mexican Hispanics use to call Mexicans. I then say that "I shouldn't have said that word and that I like Mexican people". Luckily my team gets ambushed right as that happen, and we all died, so I didn't have to awkwardly work with them.
I really don't even know why I said that word since I don't hate Mexican people, but it happened and I regret it. So TIL not to charge a charge tower without everyone on it.
