"General chat is coming back" inspired memoirs.
But its not just about the chat. Its about all the problems.
Look:
Reporting a player for exposing your position into general chat, takes remembering the timecode of what happened, going to WG support, writing a letter.
Revealing positions can happen every battle, but I doubt anybody has nerves and time to do that. I come into game to play, not to start sending tickets left and right for every imperfection of the game, for bad physics, for bad collision models, for bugs, for bad enemies/teammates.
Its not my or your obligation to do this(Fix their game). You're using somebody's product, probably even donating money, but in return you also need to help WG make their game by reporting all the bugs and problems. Really? Where is it fair?
Now WG. Its not just unfair, buts its terribly ineffective for you.
I myself report only about 0-10% of physics abuse, other types of unsportsmanlike conduct and bugs.
Most of community probably doesn't report anybody and write letters into technical supportt all too. Proof of this I am. I've raged and did(And do) some bad things too in past and pretty often(On my other accounts ofc), and so far I've never got banned.
Okay nice, I can criticize, but what is solution to all that? How do we magically increase players' motivation to report and write letters of the issues?
Easy, and FAIR.
WG should start paying me and you ufor doing this, either in real money, or in-game currency.
And not some 100-250 credits, I'd say 100k credits or 150 gold for each correctly reported player/bug and written letter with proof material of course.
This will not just stimulate players to do this, again, this will bring fairness into the relationship between community and the company.
All WG have to do now:
- Is pay me for this idea(50k gold. EU, blackshtormx) and I'm gifting rights to it to WG.
- Call their video maker and community team(because they are only Well and hardworking team in WG llc.)
- Start the hype around this
- Appoint a "Month of issues", its an event during which you can report game issues into tech support including: Unsportsmanlike behaviour of a teammate/enemy, engine bugs, and other technical problems. But then suddenly make this happen every 2nd month.
- Give players a reward
- Have a game that everybody will enjoy playing because of fear of getting banned if they do something bad. And a game without bugs.
- Get rich.
Thats it. WG, we are waiting.
