ok so after the recent update(1.7) me and my friend couldn't receive nor send platoon invites to eachother, so i made a ticket asking for help, didnt know what category to choose so i thought matchmaking was the most suitable. well they closed the ticket instantly and this is the answer i received:
Hello! me and my friend cant play in platoon.. we cant send nor recieve any platoon invites! we were in a battle when the whole server went down for maintenance and now today we cant join eachothers platoons, we just dont recieve any notification to join after invitation was sent..

We are aware that entering a battle and seeing that your team looks weaker than the enemy team or that you are in the bottom tiers of the battle can be discouraging, but please note that this is not the only factor affecting the outcome of a battle, as tactics and teamplay can often overcome single player skill.

An important thing that you need to take into account is that player skill is not one of the factors taken into account in Random battle team formation. This is because such a thing would heavily hamper the time it takes to find a battle, among other things. We are convinced that not many of us would be happy having to end up searching for battles longer than we actually play.
We would like to add that this system is the best way to balance the battles that we have come up with so far. Our developer team is however open to constructive feedback and if you would like to give some, you are welcome to do so through our forums.
