I now see why people hate ranked battles. Most toxic experience I’ve had in a video game, period.

I avoided then until reward vehicles were banned, but my experience progressing through the divisions has been disgusting nonetheless. I can now see why people who have been progressing fast have generally used artillery; teammates are as dangerous as the enemy, and you find yourself getting blocked, pushed out or cut off by the inevitable lemming train, usually resulting in expensive and majorly frustrating deaths.

The quality of play, even from very experienced players, is honestly worse than randoms, as selfish player action often leads to losses in ways that just wouldn't happen in a random, with key positions not being contested at all by players afraid to so much as take a hit.

As it stands, the only tanks truly worth playing are the STB, Object 430U, EBR, and artillery. Maybe the 277 if you can ensure you stay with a yolo and are not caught alone.

Wondering if this gets better or worse when you reach leagues?
