My new player experience – 1 1/2 months in. With too much money spent.

Started about 1 1/2 months ago ~ 1100 battles in and just got the 703 ii as my first premium right at the start.

My first couple battles were obviously bad at T8 (400-600 avg dmg) As you can expect, I got PMed by angry people with angry pokes etc.

I went into the settings and found the disable chat function and it is just the best. I only want to play random battles – I would never want to bother other people who want to compete in ranked so it shouldn't be a problem I think?

In random battles people should know there are players with vastly different knowledge right? So they should watch their profanity since it's only a random battle/ game.

By the time I grinded the Kranvagn(it was top of the tree + I spent about 6000 gold on converting free exp…) I can see how I'm getting more and more better games even with some losses where I am still happy with my performance(when I had good dmg). Emil 2 is a beast!

BUT, the biggest contributor why I enjoy WOT and already spent too much money(~250 Euros) as a new player is that I am able to disable the entire chat.

As for the premium tanks(I spent a good amount on the christmas boxes):
They are really enjoyable! They feel so much more superior than the stock tanks which are just horrendous.

I'm grinding the T110E4 atm and am at T8.
I have more fun playing premiums and spend the free exp on the tech tree. I do have the following tanks now:
skoda t56

caliban

progetto 46

scorpion G

Su 130pm

renegade

strv s1

su 122-44

122 tm

tornvagn

The game is DANGEROUSLY expensive(not a surprise) and I won't be spending for quite some time since I think I already got what I wanted!

Content Creators:
I love watching Skill4ltu in his vids he is so positive that every time I get a bad game I also always blame myself when I think about what I did wrong.
"there is no cure for stupidity"
"oh well what can you do"
"We got nobody to blame but ourselves"

Watching him and others(iyouxin, mailand, mouzakrobat, qb) has also improved me quite alot(position, decision-making). I really love it when things fall together after a good decision.

(some names may be wrong since I am sitting in a train and have nothing else to do and english is not my first language – sorry for that)

This is just my experience. Thanks for reading.
