Testing the “real” accuracy of a tank?

Hello. Many YouTubers and even players don't plead for the official accuracy stats on certain tanks. A lot of them believe that the tank's accuracy should not be judged by the official stats since RNG plays a huge roll in hitting your shots. I do also believe that certain tanks have for some reason worse luck in hitting a shot but I do question whether this is our imagination or not. Of course, aside from the accuracy of a tank on paper(stationary and mobile), shell projectory does also play a huge role, especially with slow AP shells in the game.

Was there ever a test conducted about the real accuracy of a tank? Put tanks on an improvised test range with 100, 200 and 400 Meters, even unlimited distance with the same accuracy (adjustable with equipment and crew) and check the pattern of every shot. With at least 50 shots or more you could make statistics and see whether the dispersion is really that luck dependent or not. Importantly for this test would be to measure it without an enemy tank since the game will adjust the ballistic of the shell (slower shells sometimes fly higher and thus you miss sometimes your shots).

But I'm curious. What do you think of this myth? Is it even possible to measure it?
