How I fixed a constant crashing error

I'll keep it simple. For this issue I had steady frames in game, my ram was always fine so was my CPU/GPU heat and function. I had no issues outside of a random freeze lockup and crash that would happen about 20 minutes into every raid.

Here's the fix that worked for me for my particular issue

-Updated Graphics Drivers

-Disabled NVIDIA's trash overlay through the NVIDIA EXPERIENCE Control Panel

-Updated Windows and reinstalled the game

-Cleared Games Cache through BSG launcher

This all worked and extended my game time by about 10-15 minutes so now I can at least play a full raid before having to restart the game. But even this is a temp fix. But then I found a way to stop the game from crashing completely outside of the occasional bug that is out of my control.

>Control Panel

>System and Security

>Windows Defender Firewall

>(On the left side)Advanced Settings

>Select Inbound Rules and then on the right side click [New Rule…]

>In the new window make sure the Rule type is set to Program.

>Under program, browse for the programs pathway, you need to find where escapefromtarkov.exe is. Make sure to make the pathway for this and not the launcher exe

>When you find the program hit Next

>Select allow the connection and hit Next

>Under profile make sure all 3 are selected (Disable public if you are a tinfoil hatter) and hit Next

>Name it Tarkov or EFT or something, this is up to you. I named mine peepeepoopoo then hit Finish

>You're all done

I have not been able to find the reason for this but this is what stopped my crashing. It might have been windows stopping the game for security reasons or some garbage. I don't know why this works but it does. Hopefully this helps some people.
