The Mystery of Fish Found on Land (Solved, Exploit?)

So occasional if you are wandering along the shore line (searching for Flint or Tin usually) you will find a fish on the shore. Fish don't spawn like stone/flint/branches do, so how did it get there? Well turns out the fish swam there during a large wave generated by a storm and got beached when the wave went away. I just happened to see this happen when I needed a few pieces of flint during a storm. Of course being the lunatic that I am I then spent the next 10 minutes or so jumping into waves trying to see if I can catch fish on land before the next wave washes them back out to sea. Well I was successful in this, 2 whole fish caught, it probably wasn't worth the 10 minutes of time, but it was fun and I learned something.

Interesting, but can we exploit this? Yes, yes I think we can. My plan is to level an area by the ocean, near a school of fish, so it is just above water and wait for a storm. I'm not sure what kind of area would work best, perfectly flat, slopped, uneven, ridged, with posts, low walls, beams? I'm not sure when I will get to this (limited time to play because adulting) but I figured I would share what I learned and my ideas on how to build a Fish Farm (I expect that it will be low output, a few fish per storm).
