This week Frontier has rebalanced Bounty Hunting pay-outs, giving them a significant buff.
New players might not be aware of the additional 20% bonus available when Bounty Hunting in (ALD) systems.
Pledging to the ALD Power and reaching Rank 2 (pretty easy to get the required 100 merits) adds 20% – 50% bonus on top of this (depending on ALD's Galactic Standing – she's currently in 1st place, so it's +50% for Pledged Commanders at Rank 2)
Reaching Rank 5 will net you a full 100% bonus, although this is a bit more difficult to achieve.
