First of all I love cultists artworks, small lore and whole concept of how it should work … but it doesn't work.
I played them how CDPR wants us to play it – as package not archetype. And so I put this package in many NG archetypes – assimilate, hyperthin, clog, soldiers and with poison (double scenario) and apart from some success with clog deck all of these decks work awful.
You have 0 tempo, which in most cases ends up with 2-0 and if you meet any scoia'tael deck you can automaticly forfeit, because there is no way you can keep up with their point slam. Out of 20 matches I won in 6 of which 4 of them where mirrors. I managed to pull maybe 2 times full cultist combo with scenario and not because of heatwave (which I didn't see in any matches) but because setup of combo is just too hard.
To be honest Idk how to fix these issues, because I don't see any reason why boosting provision and points would help these cards. It is a problem of design of whole game and cards like these can't be good in such fast metas. And the worst is that it is another expansion with trash NG bronzes but this time you need them in deck to not only include them but also play them as part of the finisher combo for any good amount of points from chapter 1 scenario. For now every NG deck is forced to play pure assimilate as always.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
