Hello fellow escapers!
As you may or may not know, we're on the verge of a new major update to the game. That means it's time for a friendly reminder from your lovable Wiki Editors and Admins.
While we do have a small team of dedicated editors who work endless down in the Wiki Mines™, our time is limited and we require your help to make the wiki the best it can be!
The wiki is the combined product of everyone's work, it doesn't just magically get update with all new information each update, those pages and edits you see helping you figure out the next quest or what the new item you found is used for are done by someone just like you. We need help from you hardcore players out there who are rushing out there the first minute the new patch is available, we need help from the rats who search every container on Interchange without being seen, we need YOU!
Don't think you're bothering us with your edits, don't be scared to give editing the wiki a try. You don't need an account (although it's nice of you to make one so we can get in contact easier if there are any issues), and it's free to edit. We've got people who patrol edits to make sure they're proper and we appreciate any help we can get early on.
If you don't want to make an edit, we understand that. You may still be a bit intimidated, but do not fear! We've got a Wiki Discord here where you're free to post information and screenshots of anything you might find that we need icons or in-game views of, ping any of us if you have any information that conflicts with what the wiki says. Contributions are really important and they save us lot of time, trust us on this. If you have any questions, you can reach out to us through Discord, or even our Wiki profiles if you can't seem to access Discord (For example, mine can be found here.
Think you're ready to set up to the plate? Try your hand at making a few edits and contributions. If you end up enjoying it, come on into our Discord and get to know the dedicated editors of the wiki and possibly join our little crew!
To end things off, I just wanted to stress the point that for the first few days of the patch, you'll likely see missing statistics, icons, images, and other things like that on the wiki. This includes items, quests, and other information but do not fret! Within time, they will be there. When will depend on how many of you dedicated players help us along!
