I'm not mad when I'm a victim of scav on scav violence. It is what it is and if that's how you choose to play the game I can't really knock it. However being polite I've noticed a lot of the scavs shooting me on sight are not exactly great at the game. It's cool I'm not either. I just hope you know what you are doing.
As one bad player to another it's really nice to be able to scav whenever I want to get my money up. My current cooldown is something like 11 minutes, which I can easily burn up just dicking around in my inventory. If you're like me and your average PMC raid is a net loss just realize when you get to the mid game if you haven't completely blown out your scav karma it makes it really quick and easy to fill up your gpus in your Bitcoin farm or buy those expensive hideout upgrades when you can make easily 300k+ with zero risk off a quick 10 min scav run then have another one ready to go by the time you sell everything from the one you just finished.
I rarely leave a scav run with room to spare in my inventory so I honestly don't see the rationale in killing scavs for loot, finding loot in a scav raid is as easy as it gets. If you just want to be the bad guy and kill people because it's fun by all means do what you do but at some point there's going to be a rain of tears on this sub when people who need that extra income but ruined their scav karma realize it's EXTREMELY hard to recover once you get below -2 or so.
Just food for thought.
