This was an idea I had while watching games with special roles modded in. Enter The Clairvoyant.
Quick Backstory: When I first heard of Among Us, unlike most people who thought the game was like Mafia, I thought it was a lot like a board game call Avalon. For any of you who've played Avalon before, this role is basically the same role as Merlin.
How the role works: The Clairvoyant is a special type of Crewmate. They don't possess any special abilities during the game and operate the same way a Crewmate does. The difference is, at the beginning of the game, the Clairvoyant is told exactly who the Impostors are. The rest of the game is virtually the same as regular Among Us. The only other difference is this: If both Impostors are voted out, the game doesn't end. The Impostors get to have their own private meeting where they decide on a guess for who The Clairvoyant is. If they guess wrong, the Impostors still lose, just like in regular Among Us. However, if the Impostors correctly guess who the Clairvoyant is, despite having been voted out, The Impostors automatically win the game.
How one would play as The Clairvoyant: Basically, you're job is try and get the Impostors voted out (by convincing the Crewmates of who the Impostors are), without revealing yourself to be the Clairvoyant.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
