Still being very green in the world of Valheim, I’m trying to contain some of this ecstatic optimism I’m currently facing with this title. With that being said, I wanted to take a second to thank the dev team behind this beauty for instilling confidence in a game and dev team, that I haven’t had in a long time — so thank you!!!
They seem to listen, care, and show genuine passion for producing a game that people want to play and want to continue playing, staying excited for the future.
They’ve done a wonderful job at taking a not so novel concept in today’s industry, and making it feel like nothing other. I’ve played a million RPG’s, a million MMORPG’s, my fair share of survival games, and just about everything else out there, and this game holds a special place, as it has brought back feelings of sheer giddiness I haven’t had over a game in a while. It provides an all around wholesome experience, and I couldn’t be more thrilled and hopeful for things to come. To think…I almost didn’t buy it after contemplating over the last couple months. What a disservice I would’a done to myself…
I hope the team behind this gem continues to do what they’re doing; they’ve got something special going for sure, and it’s surprisingly refreshing in its own right.
Now, time to clock outta work and hit the mead hall, baby!
