With the ongoing sales in the shop, all previous expansion kegs are now available in the shop.
But should you buy them? And which ones? This post is intended to be a very short and simple guide to help you if you have joined the game "recently" and have never seen most of those kegs.
To complete your collection
From your profile page, you can see the progression of your collection by expansion. If you are missing more card from a specific expansion, then it may be a good idea to buy kegs from this expansion to complete it.
Use the top-right menu to see the progress by expansion
To look for a specific type of card
Some expansions have added unique keywords. If you are looking for a specific type of card, no matter the faction, heres a quick list of what you can expect:
Crimson curse kegs: nothing very special but there will not be any syndicate card in it. I wouldn't buy those unless you need those cards for completing your collection.
Novigrad kegs: this will only contain "base" cards of the Syndicate faction. Syndicate kegs are better.
Iron Judgment kegs: can be interesting if you want to expand your bandit collection or if yo are looking for a card with Defender.
Merchants of Ofir kegs: If you are looking for Scenario cards or for new Stratagems, you should try these kegs.
Master Mirror: If you are looking for Evolving Cards or Echo cards this is the kegs you need.
Way of the Witcher kegs: They have the Location and some good legendaries. But note that Location cards are available from the reward book from Way of the Witcher trees. I do not reccomend those kegs unless you are looking for a specific card in this set.
