I've been desperately trying to get the CM persona, I've literally played hundreds of matches – every evening I get a bit of time to game and I always chose Dota because of this stupid persona, but it feels like such a grind now.
I play heroes I don't enjoy over and over again for the cavern crawl, I do endless quests for just a single battle pass level (even the mystery chests, I always get 1,000 points) and it just really isn't fun any more.
I'm actually level 142 now – so damn close, and yet I'm almost certain I'm giving up. Weeks, in fact months of grinding and I think I'm done. My win rate is probably staggeringly low across this period too which doesn't help. I'd be amazed if it was higher than 30% (Herald btw, and finding Diretire in particular very hard to win)
Anyone else finding similar?
