1. Winter queen anti synergy.
   You want to keep her in deck because she is a powerful free carryover but you lose value from the echo mechanics carryover. making it so you overcommitted by playing the echo and pulling winter queen when echo is meant to be not over-committal to a certain extent

2. Devotion decks desire to bleed which makes long rounds less common.
   Devotion typically needs to bleed as they lack control tools necessary to win long rounds against certain matchups resorting to shorter rounds which significantly lowers its value. Even though devotion isn’t intrinsically involved with this specifically; many of the synergies around the frost mechanic are devotion.

3. Reactivity

The value of the card can very often be stalled out by using specials which makes the card even worse on blue. you often need to win the round so you can bleed out important threats round 2 but doing so you over invest by pulling queen

4.Overkill of frost mechanic

The best cards in the deck (eredin/crew) produce weather and you have other means like leader and red riders makes it overkill often leading to too much frost in a give round

If the deck got some control even a lock they would be much happier in a long round but with the current set of cards ard gaeth would be significantly better if they removed the echo since the echo has continuously been the weakest part of the card
