Arlington Major venue info?

I still don't know if re-entry into the venue is allowed or if we have to stay there all day.

The rest of the information I've gathered is compiled below

Arlington Major

What is the bag check and security policy?

All attendees will have to undergo a metal detector and bag check security screening. All bags and purses must be soft sided and not exceed 16” x 16” x 8”. Backpacks are prohibited, except for single-compartment drawstring bags that do not exceed the bag-size requirements of 16” x 16” x 8”. Exceptions are for those that are carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children. All bags are subject to search before entering the venue.

What is the policy on camera or recording in the venue?

Cameras must be self-contained, may not draw on Esports Stadium Arlington power sources, and must be operated by a single individual without use of ancillary equipment, such as a tripod or external lights. Pedestrian traffic may not be blocked at any point.

What is the COVID-19 policy?

Masks will be OPTIONAL for all fans in attendance
Event attendance shall be subject to any local public health, venue or other event restrictions and guidelines.

WiFi

The Arlington Expo Center provides complimentary wireless internet throughout the facility for all of our guests. The system provides ample bandwidth for common web applications and has been designed specifically to provide connectivity for large groups of people.

Simply connect to the “ACCNet WiFi” network on your wireless device, and you’re online!

Food

The Arlington Expo Center offers several dining and snacking options for event attendees. Levy Restaurants is pleased to be the exclusive food concessions and catering provider at the Arlington Expo Center.

No outside food or beverage may be brought into the Arlington Expo Center. No coolers, food deliveries, or carry-out dining is permitted to be brought into the venue at any time.

For most public shows, one or more of our concession areas is made available. We offer a number of fresh, mouth-watering selections crafted by our Executive Chef. If a quick snack is all you need, the concession areas provide soft drinks, grab-n-go snack items, candy, popcorn and a range of fresh-baked items including our famous Texas-sized cookies and double-chocolate brownies.

Your event may not have concessions offered, so we also have a vending area with limited soft drinks, snacks and candy. The soft drink machine takes major credit cards. The snack machine is cash-only.

Parking

The Arlington Expo Center offers on-site parking on the west side of our venue. Additionally, there are adjacent surface lots available for overflow parking.

To access our parking lot, turn into the main entrance, marked by our electronic marquee, located at 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011. Proceed to the parking attendant’s booth, and then on to the main parking lot.

Convention Center event parking is $10 per car, with daily in/out privileges.
We accept most major credit cards, as well as cash.

Additional Notes

I live near the venue so just wanted to add a few points. The venue is surrounded by parking lots, there's a huge football stadium and a baseball stadium right near it, and all the actual restaurants and things to do are a bit out of walking range. There's a park just south of the venue (but it'll be pretty hot outside). About a mile west of the venue is Collins St, where there are a lot of restaurants and storefronts. Parking in the area (in front of restaurants and stuff) is very easy and free, it's just the venue's parking that costs $10.

If the weather isn't too bad you could try walking from the stadium to Collins St. to explore (if you don't have a car), but use your judgement and carry enough water. You can leave the venue, going south into that park. Walk southwest towards Randol Mill Rd and then walk west until you reach Collins St.

If driving, there are some more restaurants north of I-30 on the same road (Collins St.)

Further away there's the Parks Mall at I-20 and Cooper St. (7 miles away, maybe 20 min drive) with a lot of shopping (and an Ice Skating Rink!)

a bit north there's River Legacy Park with some great trails and nice waterfront views of Trinity River and Lake Viridian (3 miles away, maybe 10 min drive)

Very close to the venue is an amusement park, Six Flags over Texas. Very fun place, I've been there quite a few times. Usually more of an all day thing, and tickets aren't that cheap. But if you happen to be in town early the crowds won't be nearly as bad on a weekday.

If you're driving all the way to Dallas or Fort Worth, check out their subreddits for some things to do.
