It's my first wipe so maybe I've got something off but.. I feel like there's basically no difference when I deck myself out in T4 armor compared to T1-T3. Only if I'm fighting scavs does it feel like it's actually a battle.

Any players and I'm just instantly dead as if I weren't wearing any armor at all. Or, they just shoot my arms and the armor I wore is completely irrelevant.

I appreciate that the game rewards when someone catches someone else off-guard, but if I deck myself out in higher tier armor, I'd expect to at least be able to stave off a few bullets.

When I do die, I typically check the ammo used against me and it's always some of the best. I feel like it is meant to feel like you progress through armor tiers and you get a bit more defense, but the defense feels completely absent. Truly most of the time the armor is irrelevant.

Is the higher tier ammo not rare enough? Most seem to go right through armor.

Am I missing something?
