Tarkov has beautiful day-night cycle that has been largely missing ever since 2017 due to introduction of a split-time for each open map.
This has resulted in large majority of the player-base – including me – to never touch night raids, since there simply is no reason to do so.

Tarkov is supposed to be a challenging and role-playing game that tries to simulate real life. Preparing for night, learning to overcome it and adapting to it with resources at hand is something that shouldn't just be skipped and dismissed.

To immediately address some of the points you will have:

Other survival games have already dealt with this issue and there are some ways it can be addressed in tarkov such as

• shorter day-night cycle(for example 5h day and 1h night)
• staggered time-zones for each map(for example Customs GMT+1, Woods GMT+2)

And besides that you can play factory or labs, which are perma-day.

Yes, and for some reason BSG didn't try shortening nights further than /4. At the same time with stupid OP NVGs it was kinda understandable to give us the night-raid-off button.

Sure. But I like majority of players never force myself to pointless inconvenience and risks. While it is fun, night is often more expensive and stressful to run so I naturally don't do it out of freewill.
If there is an easy way out, I will 100% of the time take it.

Have you ever heard the famous "Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game."? This is literally what avoiding night-time is – it's an optimization.
I would really like for there to be that small layer of depth in tarkov of me thinking hey night is coming close, I should prepare myself and my equipment.

No-lifes have nods and I can only afford an SKS and i will not buy a fleshlight!!!!!

Balancing and equipment accesibility issue, not night-time per se imo.

My wife is out with her boyfriend, I'm alone and it's dark and I pissed myself!!!!
