After testing out the format I had in mind after reading feedback on the last post I've concluded that there needs to be a few changes;
First off space.
The building plots are kinda cramped at 8×8 so I plan to expand to 12×12 to accommodate gardens, covered porches or tool sheds.
Reasources; I provided food, materials and plenty of them… or so I thought.
I realized I also need to provide some players with tools and armor.
To fix this all supply chests will be changed from iron chests to black metal ones for the added storage. And a tool box will be added for players who come unprepared.
Comp format;
All players will use only what is provided within the chests to build the themed building, (tavern, house, forage, farm) each building requiring a list of must have items to complete the build.
Bonus points will be awarded for including extras, (basement, additional stories, gardens etc)
Points will be deducted if you build beyond your assigned area.
Tampering with another contestants build will result in ban and automatic loss.
Using banned items, such as totems, will result in automatic loss.
The build should be completed within a 2 hour time frame at the end of 2 hours admin will place a totem to stop all from building.
We tried 3 hours and it was way too long I even think 2 is too much but with an expanded building site it maybe required.
I appreciate the feedback on the post before. And I look forward to any more ideas you may have.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
